My passion is my profession and I have learned or maybe I was born with the ability to see the simple things in life. Many people might pass by something and not take any notice. Whereas I might spend a little time looking at the beauty in the details.
I love what I do and photography is my full time job. In addition to the fine art prints, I also take real estate photos for residential and commercial spaces in addition in the Austin, Texas area I take lifestyle and branding photos to help people and companies promote themselves on social media and in their marketing campaigns.
I have developed a unique technique when it comes to my fine art photography. In fact many people for years have told me that my photos look like paintings. When I created my logo I actually included paint brushes in the design.
Typically many photographers spend a lot of time editing their images with all kinds of different software. For me my goal is to get it right in camera and spend as little time editing as possible. Most of my images have very little editing. In fact I feel like I am a beginner with Photoshop because I don't know how to use most of the features.
Have been fortunate to have images displayed in multiple buildings and office spaces throughout my career. Many of my images have also been selected to appear on covers of local magazines and books as well as calendars.
For 3 years, I led an organization that now brings in people from across the US to not only teach but to attend. When I was involved it was called Nature Visions. They have since changed the name to Mid Atlantic Photo Visions
